I wanted to reach out to let you know that a few weeks ago I have created a website for the LBP Union that is now accessible via the top navigation of our wiki. The site was somewhat inspired by the success (and continuing success at that!) of my news post about LBP.me. LBPUnion.com provides not only news about LittleBigPlanet and the ongoing server outage, but also forums and groups features that can help people talk about LittleBigPlanet.
In fact, the LBP Union Archives has its own group there that you can join if you'd like! I am hoping to perhaps add our own discussion category on the forum at some point in time but I may keep that reserved for the group page on the site. I think that will be more successful at driving t…
As many avid fans of LittleBigPlanet have noted, LittleBigPlanet's companion site, LBP.me, has vanished from the Internet without a trace. With more questions than answers, LittleBigPlanet's community is now left without a way to view updates to their recent activity, comments, and even the only means of blocking other players in the game. What happened to LBP.me and LittleBigPlanet.com, and where do we go from here?
This story is closely related to the LittleBigPlanet server outages of 2021. If you're interested in learning more about that, check out this article about the LittleBigPlanet servers.
LBP.me went down sometime around November 23rd, 2020 according to the earliest tweets I could find. Here is another example from that date.
Happy Union Refoundation Day everybody! On this day seven years ago, December 14th, 2013, the LBP Union was reformed. For two years, the LBP Union served as a platform for communication, peace, and collaboration between organized players and creators of the game.
Thank you to all of the editors on the wiki, with special thanks to SamuraiEzoiar for all his awesome work. This past month or so we have brought you a ton of new features such as active clan notices, miniature flags next to names in infoboxes, new and improved infoboxes, and a new featured article box on the homepage.
I am hoping to bring much more content to the wiki in the future, such as a more detailed history of Akatsuki, updates to the LittleBigPlanet Union article, and mor…
I want to remind everybody that this December 14th, 2020 will be the seventh year anniversary since the LBP Union was reformed at the end of 2013! Union Refoundation Day is a time I like to spend to reflect on all the great memories of the LBP Union, the people I met, and the things we created together.
As usual, I don't have anything huge planned. However, I did manage to add a brand new featured pages box to the front page! I'm not very good at CSS or wikitext so that was a bit of a challenge. As we approach Union Refoundation Day, I will be adding more Union clans to the featured pages slider.
There is also a new poll up that I thought would be fun. I'm hoping to introduce new polls more frequently, so make sure you vote for your favorit…
So, this might have caused a few issues.
In the clan information infobox template, I've changed 'Population' to 'Total Population' and added a new row called 'Average Population.' The idea is that you wouldn't have both on one article, but only use the one that was necessary. Most older, dead clans probably need 'total population' because we have no chronological data on their membership count. However, we can figure out everyone who was involved, or at least as many people as we can find. Calling that the 'total population' helps us understand that this may not have been how many members that the clan had at any given time, but rather over the entire course of its existence.
However, for a clan like the New Lunar Republic that has chronol…
Hey, everybody. I wanted to apologize for the excessive edits I made today, mostly on the Red Skull Republic article. The good news is, I managed to complete the history section! Well, there will be edits in the future. Most of the information comes from one source in particular. I have yet to dig in and cross reference it with some other sources. However, the good news is that this mainly goes beginning to end with RSR's history. From here we can delegate some details to proper conflict pages, consolidate information, and then add more information where necessary. There is plenty of space for new images and I will add more information about the clan here soon based on some other resources that I have.
Thanks to HomocidalChicken for provid…
Hey, all. I wanted to quickly update you on progress on the Red Skull Republic page renovations that I have been working on. As always, I encourage anyone who would like to contribute to edit pages on the wiki, including the RSR page. Don't worry about it being neat and tidy, we can always edit changes up later to make them a better fit with other articles on the site.
- 1 Current State of the Red Skull Republic Article
- 2 New Resources
- 3 Misinformation and the Truth
- 4 Timeline for RSR Updates
As many of you have probably noticed, the Red Skull Republic article is in pretty bad shape. A lot of earlier parts of the text are actually derived from a much earlier article created by Godman2k7 shortly following the RSR/Union War. You can find this article …
I'd like to clarify a few things. In my last post I called for anyone who would like to submit resources for the wiki are more than welcome to do so to my email, email@example.com. However, I'd like to clarify that ideally I would like to make these resources available on the Archive Library, a publicly accessible Google Drive folder that you can find on the top navigation bar on the wiki from every page. I typically link to these documents as references on articles. For example, a transcription of Polarlab's autobiography exists on the Archive Library that I link to.
So, you may ask, what are the advantages of publishing on the Archive Library rather than hosting it yourself? Well, for starters you won't have to worry about hosting …
I've gone ahead and unblocked most users from the wiki that were blocked. The only user that is still blocked is a user named "m88isgay" because I'm super butthurt and you hurt my feelings. Pick a better username next time that doesn't have 'm88' in the title. 'm88' is such a horrible username, good grief.
Why have I unblocked all these people? They must be super terrible terrorists, right? Well...I am fairly confident that I can deal with spam and trolling on the wiki. It's very easy to reverse with one click. So, consider this a second chance from your divine ruler of the wiki!
Just kidding, don't view me like that. I'm certain that a lot of people view this site with a bit of disdain. With 'LittleBigPlanet Union' in the title and me as …
Hello, everyone. As you might know, I have been researching a community of players on LittleBigPlanet for some time now called BattleClanAREA5, as well as their related communities such as BattleClanAREA4 and 6. From the beginning I was a bit skeptical of everything, and you may feel the same way if you read their history on their articles on this wiki. i've tried to remain as objective as I can in this process, but in doing so my skepticism has become overwhelming as I am faced with a lack of evidence about the many forces that function within their community.
There are several key components that I am skeptical of: hacking, banishing, and the nature of how the PlayStation experience is locked in BattleClanAREA6.
Rather than spew it all out…
I try to regularly request an XML backup of this wiki from Fandom. This is a very large XML file that has all the formatting and textual information from every page on the wiki. You can download this as well from the Special:Statistics page! Alternatively, I upload these files to the Google Drive whenever I save them, so anybody can access older database backups of the site. So, just in case the entire Fandom site crashes or there's some kind of asteroid disaster that wipes out most of the world order, you can still find this wiki's pages for free on Google Drive in our Archive Library.
To access the file, you can try opening it in your web browser or in notepad or another basic word processor. You'll have to go through a lot of formatting …
Oh my god lol I have no time to edit the wiki
I have a lot that I want to do, but I just don't have much time to do it. School's been a bit busy for me and I'm getting to the point where I have to figure out what the heck I'm going to do as a career. Sadly, archiving and researching about LBP clans probably isn't going to pay me very well, unless I can somehow reap the benefits of youtube monetization or something. Anyway, here is my agenda going forward,
- BattleClanArea5. I don't have enough time to fully cover this community, but I can at least get all the pages for each of the 'BattleClan Kingdoms' set up so that people can edit them themselves. This is a very complicated topic and I don't think I'll be able to cover it all alone.
So, after some deliberation, I've decided that there needs to be a separation between archiving and research in the realm of study about LittleBigPlanet clan history. So, I've decided to do something a little unusual.
I've started a new blog on Tumblr called the Las Calles Review which will act as a sort of fake academic journal. People can submit articles to it for review, and if they are up to the right guidelines I can publish them on the blog. They of course can also be included in the archive library as well.
Why should you publish research about clan history through my journal? Well, there are a few obvious advantages. For one, I administrate this wiki, which is the largest repository of information about LittleBigPlanet clans on the …
We've officially reached 200 pages! Thanks to everyone who has helped contribute to the wiki. I appreciate all your help. Our work is far from over. There is a lot left to do, and not much time to do it. If you're looking to contribute, an easy thing you can do is do photo archival! Sit down sometime and go on a nostalgia trip through your LBP.me photos and save as many as you can. Then, toss them in a .zip, .rar or .7zip file and send them over to me for the wiki's Project Theia. LBP.me and the LBP servers won't be around forever, so it's important that we archive as much as we can.

On October 23, a series of experiments conducted by researcher David Kang on AO-345 (Anomalous Object) was done with my authorization. I have decided to allow Dreams PS4 content and history to be recorded on the server. The earlier restriction was kind of a bad move on my part, I admit. Feel free to add plans and history as you play with Dreams Early Acc
Hey, if you saw that the Archive Library wouldn't let you access it, I had a brief mishap earlier today. It should be accessible now.
Well hey, what do ya know, I finished it.
There is still a lot of work to be done, like uploading to youtube and I also forgot a few songs, and World Invasion got screwed up for sure, but eh whatever. Here's the first version for you. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Ek6trV6AaZahQsmhp_yx4JHb9h3Nr6wr
Here I am, jumping around different subjects of archival again. :/
I am currently uploading a bunch of old clan music from Fallen Republic and a few other sources via PS4 share stream to youtube. The goal of this is to clip up each song and upload it under an archival account for preservation. Any information known about each song will also be recorded. There could perhaps also be articles on the wiki about these songs as well.
It's going to take some time for me to rip these songs, cut them accordingly and then reupload them.
If you have any music you'd like to contribute to the archival initiative, it would be greatly appreciated.
Some of you might have heard of Polarlab's recent reupload of The Last War, a 2014 Axis Alliance film depicting a war between the Axis and two enemies: the LBP Union and the USSR. I have... a lot to say on this. Unfortunately, I just don't really have the time right now to say it. Been having a bit of a rough time lately. Oddly enough, details of this film and its themes are relevant even today.
I'll get to talk about it eventually, and it'll have its own article as well. It would be nice to also make articles for other film projects from clans. In the meantime while I deal with school, I'll sit on this and think about it some more.

Brasilistan is a country in what was the Middle East, it is known for its dictator government, and making war with other nations. Now it is in Anarchy
The Nation was founded by Abdul al-Basher, he owned the nation under a iron fist, it went to war with small nations, taking them over to add to the territory. Then took over larger, and large nations, until owning almost all of the Middle East, and a bit of what was Russia, they declared war on Chernokovia, which made the economy bad in Chernokovia as it went to war and saving its citizens, and worse for Brasilistan, it resulted in a war that lasted 3 years, and terrorism in Chernokovia, the fir…
Vandals begone. By the power of Flex Seal I banish thee.
Happy Union Refoundation Day! Today is the fourth year anniversary of the LBP Union's reformation in 2013. I'm happy to celebrate remembering the reformed Union with my friends. We might not have had the impact on the community that we had hoped for, but we did make a difference.
After this week is over I will be able to go home for Christmas break and have some breathing room to work on some important and neglected parts of the wiki. Some areas I want to touch up on,
- The Axis Alliance. I'd like to restructure this page so that it
is mainly an overview of the Axis and not a painstakingly detailed
history. The history can be split up into conflict pages because
conflict is literally the only thing that defines the Axis.
Arguably the fifth Axis today could be defined by its strange
content rather than its wars, but I digress...
- In addition, related to this, I'd like to clean up the respective 2011 Axis pages such as Armageddon Empire and Red Eagle Army so that their conflicts are overviews. I've actually noticed contra…

I HEREBY CALL TO BATTLE LESLIE THE FUCKER UPPER TO DEFEND THIS WIKI FROM SUCH FOUL TROLLS
First of all, the previous contest I posted has been cancelled. I got kinda busy and also the only contest entry wound up being a private level so I decided to call it off completely. (Although, Eryk, your citadel level was pretty epic)
On a more important note, I've received criticism over the presentation of information in the Dark Akatsuki article. I've been told that I left out a lot about the involvement of ShinigamiPhantom in the feud that split the clan, as well as his role in other events. It is untrue that I left out Phantom from the article. It is explained how he provided the old TDA members list, which led to the Protectors contacting TDA members and ultimately led to the dissension that ousted Bzrew45 in favor of HarrysBoo's le…
Don't forget about the front page contest deadline next Friday on October 5th! More information in my previous post.
Remember to let me know you're entering and put the correct phrase in the level description.
Alright, I have been looking over this for a while and I think I feel comfortable enough to post it. I will make an article page for it eventually. This is a critical essay analyzing the Anti-Red Eagle Army conflict that took place in 2011. It combines multiple sources (mostly from Polarlab) to critique the methods of the factions involved and I make an argument about each belligerent's belief in "pseudo-power", which describes the arbitrary social power that they constructed to create a pecking order between clans. I have created a new "Publications" folder on the Archive Library google drive folder. If you decide to write a critique or analysis piece or some other work that qualifies as a secondary source, I can include it in here if you…
So, I've seen that there are a few clans left on LBP. I am interested in what they can do.
For a reward, create something with your organization that is not a recruitment level. Your level should be related to your clan somehow. It can be a headquarters, a game, a scenery level, or something wholly different. The more creative you are, the more likely you will win. It must be a collaboration, give credit to the members who help with the project.
Alliances are exempt, but the member states of those alliances may still participate.
The winner will be featured on the wiki front page for a month, and I will write a critical piece about your organization using historical context for funsies. I'm hoping to keep doing contests similar to this to dec…

I believe that information here on this wiki is important because each clan was important to someone at one point in time. It's important that we write things down, because if we do not we may wish we had. Only so much of history is remembered, and only so much of what is remembered is written down, and only so much of what is written down survives, and only so much of what survives is made available. What may seem like a silly, childrens' political squabble between clans on a game for little kids was important to those involved and may be important to people interested in the people involved. I am focused particularly on clans that were involved with the LittleBigPlanet Union, but I am also interested in other clans. Why?
I want to argue m…
I've been slow to upload these two documents because Polar wasn't finished with either of them, but I decided to upload what I had for now. The census seems 'finished' by Polar's standards if I recall correctly. The timeline is certainly not finished. Both of these documents are very valuable for the archival initiative, but they should still be viewed with scrutiny. You can find them in the new Research folder under Polarlab's own folder in the Archive Library.
In short summary, the clan census is an attempt to list all clanners...ever, by clan. It essentially allows you to see 'all' total members of a clan. The way he went about it was checking photos and comments and such. This doesn't mean that everyone listed was a member of the clan a…
A short note, the Archive Library is now ready to be clicked on the top navigation of the site under wiki content. I think that this collection of primary sources is invaluable to citations on the wiki and should be easily accessible from anywhere on the site through this method. Also, that being said, the [Archive Library] now has its own article to describe it. Hooray! I soon would like to start coming up with some secondary sources just as practice. I'm taking a statistics class this summer for college and maybe I could figure out some fun ways to apply it to the census data that I have (despite the very large margin of error that the census has).
I've posted the first official thread for the Dreams Union on Dreambubble here: https://www.dreambubble.me/forums/threads/dreams-union-lets-play-dreams-together.1217/
To my welcome surprise, the studio that I have the most hype for seeing immediately jumped into the project, Mad-GFX. They are working on the Europa Descent project, which has incredible concept art. Please go check it out, it's imperative that you do so lol
I know this is going to be big. I'm very glad we were able to jump on board with this and I hope that we can actually help make Europa Descent become a success together. We have some great artists/minds hanging around at our discord server that I think would be invaluable to the project if they were to contribute.
So yesterday I put out a tweet about the end of the union government. Big deal lol
Long story short, Sevi432 from Taurian Concordat convinced me to come back and help them start things up again in preparation for Dreams. So, I came back to offer some advice and help with the Union. It got Huntsman007 elected as president and everything was fine and dandy.
Huntsman's presidential term ends May 5th. Yesterday, we decided that it was best to shut down the union government and keep the Union alive in spirit. Its ideals and objective will live on, but the structure will not. This wiki will continue to be updated and built upon, and we'll continue to chat on our server.
The spiritual successor of the LBP Union will be the Dreams Union. It is not an …
An update on Project Theia. As a reminder, Project Theia is the photo archival project. I am emphasizing this project because LBP.me may not be a reliable host for uploaded photos on LBP that may yield vital information on clanning. This project is meant to store as many LBP clanner photos as possible and organize them by author and name them by the people featured within them (a dating system has not yet been implemented, but this would be very useful.)
I have successfully completed archiving the following creators,
I need to find a more suitable home for the link to this, but I have put together a sort of public library of archived documents. These are mostly things like transcripts of the autobiographies, my journals, press conferences, and then some other stuff. You can browse around the primary sources without the possibility of wiki bias getting in the way (unless you count the annotations. If those bother you, please contact me and I will publish a new edition of the transcripts that have no annotations.) This is also where I intend to keep the archived photos for Project Theia, a project ot preserve as many uploaded LBP.me photos as possible. I could really use some help with this. It's not possible for me to accomplish alone.
This is under cons…
Sorry to be clickbaity about the title, but this could be potentially disasterous for the archival initiative if action isn't taken.
Alder and I have discovered that LBP1 photos uploaded to my profile seem to have exactly HALF the resolution of LBP2 and LBP3 photos. We don't know for sure why. I recall that the photos didn't used to look that bad. I may be wrong, but my hypothesis is that the LBP website is deliberately reducing the resolution of older photos in order to save server space. If they can do this, then perhaps they will do it again with LBP2 photos in the future, or maybe delete swathes of photos entirely. The LBP website isn't going to be around forever either. We must take action to preserve relevant historical photos or they…
So on many archived documents such as Pool's Manifesto and others, the dates listed on the title pages for their texts (not wiki articles) are incorrect. Many list the date as being October 27th, 2017. This conveniently is the same date as the creation of the template I use to archive them. I just never modified the date. They seem to be named correctly under a classification system I haven't told you about yet, not that that's relevant to you.
I will have to go through and update each .pdf file and reupload the files. I'll have to do that when I'm not drowning in niquil.
Also, I am looking to try and put together the Khorne Empire article. There is a lot of information and pictures to include, as well as multiple variations of the clan so…
Great news. I have managed to archive the Protectors' Google Hangouts group chat from the end of 2015 all the way to 2016. This connects almost directly to the private group chat on discord between the Protectors from the switch from Hangouts onward. Unfortunately this leaves the Union's Kik group chat from 2014-2015 unable to be saved. Kik pretty much deletes old messages and we lost the chat to Visarian control a long time ago. The Protectors chat from then I think is also gone. This is disappointing, as I have discovered many interesting things from the Hangouts Chat. One of the books of this chatlog is the reveal of our plans, actions and thoughts about the conflict with Bzrew45's Senkei Dark Akatsuki. I discovered that we actually orc…
So, Polar just sent me a timeline he has been working on and it is intended to improve the precision of his autobiography. It does this, and I am hesitant to take it word for word because the resources aren't cited, but it's the best we've got right now. We can cross reference it with other stuff like we do with everything else. Probably the most thought provoking revelation of the timeline I've received is that the first Axis Alliance was actually in 2010, not 2011, and had Black Scythe Army rather than Armageddon Empire. This shifts the time a bit and makes things a little complicated. It will take me some time to modify pages to accord to this, but keep in mind I try to keep wording a bit speculative because I don't 100% trust the sourc…
Hey, working on formalizing these time periods. You can find the category page and the link to a nice interactive timeline here!
I would like to start adding new page flags. For example, the stub template flags a page like this,
So, what about other flags? I'd like to add in new flags like, "this page needs to be brought up to the wiki's style standards" or "this page contains incorrect information and needs to be fixed" or something along those lines. I really started to think about this when I saw a vandal post a page titled RAYDENBADCOOKIE. The content of the page is absolute nonsense, but Rayden was a real account involved with clanning and the Silentium Contra. I am not 100% certain but I think this person might be Wanida12, a leader of the Silentium Contra in late 2014. I haven't had the chance to get to fixing the page so that it at the bare minimum describes …
